Ford Motor Company F and its joint ventures reported a 21% year-over-year rise in China sales to a December record of 150,000 units.The improvement was driven by growing demand for the automaker’s lineup of SUVs including Ford Edge, Explorer, the Ford Taurus and performance vehicle Ford Mustang.Sales increased 14% year over year to 1.27 million units in 2016, driven by strong demand for an expanded vehicle lineup.

Ford to roll out new electric SUV with 300-mile range

– Enlarge Image Photo by FordFord today confirmed that one of the 13 new electrified vehicles that it plans to bring to market by 2020 will be a small, fully electric SUV.The carmaker says the all-new model will have a driving range of at least 300 miles.That’s a substantial improvement over the 115-mile driving range of the 2017Focus Electric, which is the only fully electric vehicle in the Ford lineup today.
