– Maruti Suzuki has recently announced a price hike effective from 27 January 2017 across its model range, affecting all its cars at standard Maruti Suzuki dealerships and premium Nexa showrooms.The recently launched Maruti Suzuki Ignis, positioned as an entry-level model at Nexa dealerships, will not be impacted by the price hike.So it continues to be priced in the range of INR 4.59 lakh to 7.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

– Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest automaker has hiked car prices across the range by up to Rs 8, 014.The automaker has been the last one to do so as all other carmakers had hiked their products in India effectively from January 1, 2017.The company has justified the hike in prices due to rising material cost, transportation and administrative expenses.
