Toddler found in car with dead father in store parking lot quoting : MLive

PLAINWELL, MI — The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a Kalamazoo man whose body was found in a car with his two year-old son early Monday morning.
Baker said authorities believe that man may have been inside the store for as long as two hours.
Whether he knew Newcomb was dead or not is not yet clear, Baker said, nor do authorities know when and how Newcomb died.
The deputy responded to the location and discovered that the man in the vehicle was not breathing.

A second person was found inside the business who had been traveling with Newcomb and the child.
Detectives say that Newcomb had a history of drug abuse and other health issues.
The Allegan County Sheriff is investigating the death of Levi Newcomb, 29, of Kalamazoo.
