The report also shows Toyota’s team members logged more than 20,000 volunteer hours for local organizations last year.

A national study found one out of every 100 workers in Indiana was employed as a result of Toyota in 2015.
“We have a commitment to long-term community security, so when we hire team members here, we hire them in hopes that they build a career with us here at Toyota,” Johnston said.

According to the study, in 2015, one out of every 200 workers in Texas were employed as a result of Toyota.
Richard Perez, CEO & president of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, said Toyota has also done a fantastic job getting executives involved in the chamber and the community.
It also shows that Toyota’s Texas employees earned a total of $1.9 billion.
