Toyota reveals new vehicle 35 rescuers in San Diego

35 Brand New Toyota Vehicles Unveiled for San Diego Lifeguards. Share This Article:Thirty-five brand new 2017 Toyota Lifeguard vehicles were unveiled in Mission Beach to kick off the Memorial Day weekend.
On Friday, Toyota and the City of San Diego celebrated the announcement of their renewed partnership, said the representative.
As part of the multi-year partnership, Toyota has agreed to maintain and service the 35 cars in the fleet, said the representative.
The safety package helps keep the lifeguards behind the wheel and surrounding pedestrians safer than ever.
Besides the fleet vehicle donations, Toyota has also sponsored the lifeguards’ Water Safety Days program, according to the representative.

Shahani was with Volkswagen for over three years after almost ten years at Nissan North America, where he held various management positions in marketing, sales and manufacturing.
He has also worked for Sun Microsystems, Arthur Andersen and Ford Motor Company in a variety of marketing, management and engineering roles.

Toyota and the City of San Diego celebrated accordingly with the announcement of its continued partnership and unveiling of 35 2017 Toyota vehicles for lifeguard rescue and operations.
“San Diego’s lifeguards are responsible for the safety of thousands of beachgoers every single day, especially in the summertime,” said Bernie Perri, president, San Diego Toyota Dealers Association.
Since 2011, Toyota has served as an integral partner of the lifeguards, supporting the city’s efforts to promote beach safety.
