MOSFETs for Automotive Electronic Control Units. ST Microelectronics has introduced new MOSFETs targeted at increasing the density in automotive electronic control units (ECUs).
The MOSFETs are 40V devices for use in motor-control applications, reverse-battery protection and high-performance power switching.
The devices feature a maximum current of 120A and maximum on-resistance of 1.5 mΩ and 3.0 mΩ.
The MOSFETs also have a total gate charges of 172nC and 91nC with low device capacitances and permit efficient switching at high operating frequencies.
The devices are 100 percent avalanche-rated and offered in a packaged with wettable flank leads for soldering.
