Baltimore County Police say they are investigating the death of a man who may have been trying to break into a car.
The man allegedly breaking into the car resisted, and when officers arrived they found him unconscious and not breathing, police said.
Police said Sunday that a man in the Halethorpe area attempted to contact police and hold another man who was allegedly breaking into a car.
Police said they are investigating the incident as a “suspicious death.” They did not immediately release the names of the two men involved.

The witness walked up to the suspect, confirmed he was breaking into a car and “attempted to hold the suspect and call for police.”
(WBFF) – A man who was breaking into a car in the Halethorpe/Lansdowne area Sunday morning was found dead after a witness tried to “hold” him until police responded, said Baltimore County police.
The witness was in the parking lot of a business on Annapolis Road near Virginia Avenue at about 8:30 a.m. when he saw another man breaking into a car on the lot, said police.
Police did not immediately clarify if the witness killed the suspect, but the incident is being investigated as a “suspicious death.”

Baltimore County police are investigating the death of man seen breaking into a car in the Halethorpe area.
Early Sunday morning, a man in the parking lot of a business in the 4300 block of Annapolis Road said he saw another man breaking into a car, according to police.
After the man approached the person attempting to break into the car, he tried to hold him and call police.
“The suspect resisted the witness the entire time,” police said, and officers on the scene found him unconscious and not breathing.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy, police said, and no further information is being released at this time.
