Former New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher was charged with two counts of DUI for his motor car crash on June 5, where he was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, according to TMZ.
Officers arrested Fisher after a DUI test.
Fisher was driving when his flipped over on a California highway at about 3 a.m.. Former “Basketball Wives” star Gloria Govan was also in the motor car.
Fisher was arraigned on charges of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher on Wednesday.
The motor car was reportedly registered to Matt Barnes, who is Govan’s ex-husband.

Now, Fisher has been formally charged with two counts of DUI stemming from that accident.
Both Fisher and his passenger were thankfully uninjured, but Fisher was arrested on suspicion that he was driving under the influence.

Thankfully no one was hurt in this incident but driving under the influence is a very dangerous thing to do, and hopefully this will be the last such incident for Fisher.
The motor car hit the shoulder’s concrete curb and guardrail, overturned and came to a rest on its roof, blocking two lanes of the highway, the highway patrol said.

Although Fisher was immediately cuffed after the accident – miraculously, no one was injured – TMZ reported Sunday he was finally charged with two counts and faces up to six months in jail.
It was Govan who called 911 to report the crash.
She was heard on the recording saying everything was fine and under control.
Fisher, 42, was driving with girlfriend Gloria Govan – in a Cadillac Escalade registered to her husband and long-time Fisher nemesis, Matt Barnes – when the athlete lost control and the motor car spun on its roof and slid across several lanes of the 101 Freeway.
