The history of car design from the 19th century

Car Design Is a very important technological innovation invented in the 19th century as an energy source. From the time of the advent of cars, it has established itself as a major mode of transport in transporting people and goods in developed countries .

Since the invention of the car design it is in a great development and very fast and nowadays it is playing a very big role in the global economy . The first engine in the world was invented by the English scientist James Watt in 1768.

The automotive industry is one of the most influential industries. The number of cars in the world in 1907 to 250,000 cars. With the introduction of the Ford model in 1914, the number of cars reached 500,000, which reached only 50 million before the Second World War. After the war, the number of car design in the past 30 years has doubled to six , and in 1975 it reached 300 million. Annual car production exceeded 70 million in 2007 .

In 1769, the first self-propelled vehicle was invented in history. It was a three-wheeled cart invented by a French mechanical engineer named Nicolas Joseph Cuño. He used a steam engine to drive his cart, which was used to tow the French army’s gun at a speed of about 4 km In 1771, Kuinu led a wagon and collided with a stone wall to record the first motor vehicle accident in history .

The history of car design coincided with the history of motor racing. The race was an important source of progress as it played an important role in proving to humanity that horses could be abandoned and replaced by cars .

The first race relied simply on strength and durability so that it gave great importance to both pilots and automaker alike. Among the pilots involved in this race were important names in the history of the automotive industry: De Dion Bouton, Benhard, Peugeot, Benz et al. The Paris-Rouen competition was the first car competition in history and was organized in 1894.

Attracting car enthusiasts has many challenges.  On the other hand, there was no motor infrastructure. In 1898, the first fatal accident took place. Montagnac died as a result of an accident in his car. With the exception of this incident, people did not stop participating in the race again. Everyone took a lot of time to understand what it was like in “horse-drawn vehicles”. “Cars are a special taste only for the rich and very close to practical use,” Henry told L’Auto in 1895.  As a result of this race, the internal combustion engine has left its place, which has shown both strength and durability as opposed to steam engines. It also seems that the car is very useful to go by where you want the Peugeot car has also been used by André Michelin .

The Michelin brothers were known for tire manufacturing and rubber wheel-drive developers by John Boyd Dunlop in 1888. Progress was very important in motor vehicles and improved road improvement was a revolution in automotive history to reduce resistance in progress and walk the road. Count Gaston’s experiments have shown that 35% of car tires are less resistant compared to previous wheels. Michelin was able to install the first frame of the car and disassociated at the same time and obtained the patent developed in 1891 and air solvency.

The development of the automotive industry at the end of the 20th century

At the end of the 20th century cars became an integral part of society. Each person had his own car design in developed countries. This density has led to many problems. Since 1970, cars have been the focus of many discussions because of issues such as road safety and death due to traffic accidents, which continue to be a major problem, particularly the negative impact on the environment. States have begun to apply harsh conditions and penalties to those who do not comply with traffic rules. While most countries have applied the point of receipt of licenses, some have also introduced prison sentences. In order to reduce the mortality rate due to traffic accidents, the necessary security measures were taken in the car design and were committed to conducting crash tests.

The development and increase in oil prices in the automotive market has led to the spread of car designs less environmentally friendly and less consumption and simple and low-cost such as Dacia Logan developed by Renault. Logan achieved a major milestone and sold more than 700,000 at the end of October 2007. As a result of this success, other automakers began working on low-cost models such as Tata Nano, which began selling in India at a cost of 1,500 in 2009 .
