The Trackhawk will sit above the 462bhp Grand Cherokee SRT, the current most potent Jeep, in the range. Jeep has launched the most powerful series production SUV to go on sale yet at the New York motor show. The thick-chinned SUV can sprint from 0-60mph in 3.5sec – identical to a Jaguar F-Type SVR – and tops out at 180mph. Although admittedly the luxury British SUV can make it to 187mph…The Trackhawk uses an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends drive to all four wheels. An electronic limited-slip differential and beefed up rear axle work with the car’s launch control to enable its sports car-aping acceleration.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk officially revealed
Well, here it is, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk in all it’s glory. As a result, the Trackhawk can cover 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds, and burn down the quarter mile in 11.6 seconds. The fastest and most powerful Jeep ever made and possibly the fastest production non-electric SUV on the planet. Inside, differences extend to a ‘Trackhawk’ logo on the bottom of the steering wheel and a 320km/h speedometer. Over the current performance flagship, the SRT, the Trackhawk increases lateral g-force from 0.87 to 0.88g thanks to nine per cent stiffer springs and different Bilstein damper settings.
The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is an SUV That Runs 11-Second Quarter Miles
Well, if you have a need for speed and are in the market for a power wagon to haul gear, groceries, and ass — say hell-o to the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. “Long recognized as the full-size SUV capability leader, Jeep Grand Cherokee is now the most powerful and quickest SUV as well, with the introduction of our new 707-horsepower Trackhawk,” said Mike Manley, FCA/Jeep brand head, in a statement. The standard adaptive suspension, which provides a 1.0-inch lower ride height, can be adjusted via the Grand Cherokee’s Selec-Track system. The Detroit-built Trackhawk will debut at the 2017 New York auto show this week and is expected to arrive in dealerships this fall. It also displays performance timers, gauge readouts, and has an engine dynamometer screen that measures horsepower, torque and current transmission gear.
