The Jeep Wrangler Pickup Is Going Out of Production Soon
We’re not going to hide the fact that we’re excited Jeep finally decided to build an official Wrangler pickup. Sadly the best Wrangler pickup you can buy is going out of production. The best part is that AEV will also equip your shiny new Wrangler pickup with a Hemi (either the 5.7 or 6.4). Those start just under $28,000, meaning the least you’re looking at $70,000 for a Wrangler pickup. But it’s also a lot more than you’d ever pay Jeep for a Wrangler.
Jeep toughens up Wrangler with Rubicon Recon
2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon was made more rugged (Photo: FCA US LLC)Jeep says it is making its rugged Wrangler even more rugged with the Rubicon Recon Edition. In the Rubicon Recon, Wrangler gets a stronger front axle, better rock rails and heavier-duty plate over the differential. The new 2017 Recon Edition will be priced at $39,145 for the two-door model and $42,945 for four-door Wrangler Unlimited. “Rubicon Recon is the perfect Wrangler for our most loyal, diehard off-road enthusiasts who love to tackle the most demanding trails,” said Mike Manley, head of the Jeep brand globally, in a statement. By souping up critical components, the Recon should be able to take on even tougher trails.
