Compared to the BMW X5 M and Porsche Cayenne Turbo S , the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is a bargain. What we also adore is that Jeep equipped its flagship Grand Cherokee with the Quadra-Trac Active on Demand 4WD system, meaning you can go off-roading and not worry about a thing. Our nearly fully-loaded tester cost $81,250 (base price $66,895). Around $100,000 and $150,000 base price, respectively. Step inside and you’ll find a luxurious interior equipped with just about every bell and whistle you’d desire.

Jeep updates Grand Cherokee range
Jeep has unveiled its updated Grand Cherokee range, which will go on sale in Australia this month. The updated Jeep Grand Cherokee interior. Speaking of which, the new Grand Cherokee range comes with Jeep’s “There and Back Guarantee”, which includes a transferable five-year warranty, lifetime roadside assistance and capped- price servicing. It also gets a unique tune for the Quadra-Lift air suspension, which improves wheel articulation and increases ground clearance to 260mm — the most ever in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. “The updated Grand Cherokee range is not only more refined on-road and more capable off-road, we’ve bolstered its safety credentials and made it even better value for money,” Jeep Australia director Guillaume Drelon said.
This Jeep Grand Cherokee Has A Hydraulic Lift That Defeats Traffic
The Jeep’s original underpinnings have been completely ripped out and replaced by this custom-built hydraulic lift system. A Honda generator, located under the hood in place of the original factory engine, powers the lift system. And speaking of cars, they’re the only thing this Honda engine-powered, four-ton Grand Cherokee can bypass. There’s over 300 feet of hydraulic pressure lines that control all movement, while bunch of cameras ensure the lift system reaches the necessary height and width to avoid scraping another car. Not only is it capable of lifting the vehicle to necessary traffic-passing heights, but it can also widen the Jeep’s stance if need be.
